A winning partnership.

We’re proud to announce a partnership with the reigning Women’s Challenge Cup Winners and Super League Leaders, Saint Helens RLC.
Marching into the new campaign, the True9 logo will proudly feature on their iconic ‘Red V’ kit, which, for the first time, has been designed independently from the men’s.
The Saints have become the dominant force in Women’s Rugby League, winning eight Challenge Cups and completing three historic treble-winning seasons.
The team’s transition to semi-professional status highlights their commitment to elevating the women’s game and achieving even greater success on the pitch. With aspirations to complete a treble - something they narrowly missed out on last season - we’re proud to support their ambitious goal.
“At True9, we’re not just fans of Rugby League; we’re big advocates for the advancement of women’s sports. This partnership reflects our values of inclusivity, empowerment, and performance,” said Martin Taylor, Creative Director at True9.
“As someone who grew up playing the game and now spends most weekends as a sports photographer, I believe investing in the game and St. Helens is a natural choice.
I covered most of the key games that the Saints were part of last year, like the Challenge Cup final at Wembley and the Women’s Grand Final. These were personal highlights of mine, so partnering with the club feels like coming full circle.”

Managing director Chris Richardson is also excited by the opportunity.
“Our brand identity is important to us, and we know it’s in safe hands with such a prestigious and professional club. Sponsorship is an excellent way for any business to give back while increasing brand exposure.
Over recent years, we’ve witnessed the growth of women’s sports, particularly rugby league.
With advancements in the game, such as paid contracts, access to private medical care, ever-increasing attendance, and more game time on the BBC and Sky Sports, it’s the perfect time to invest in it. We’re eager to see where it goes from here and are proud to play our small part in fuelling that growth.”
True9’s core mission is to spark change through technology. We’re trusted by some of the UK’s most ambitious businesses to deliver complex digital solutions that enact meaningful, measurable change.
Our company’s services — digital product and service delivery and technology strategy and innovation — align closely with the principles of performance, marginal gains, and inclusivity in professional sports.

“The parallels between sports and technology are striking,” adds Chris. “Whether gaining a competitive edge on the pitch or leveraging AI and machine learning for business advantage, both require focus, adaptability, and a drive for innovation. This partnership symbolises those shared values.
As a tech consultancy, we help businesses spark change through technology. We identify improvements — often those 1% changes — that can significantly impact daily operations. We see a strong connection between professional sports and our work, making this partnership a perfect fit.”
Through this collaboration, we look forward to enhancing our brand presence and contributing to the continued success and development of St Helens and the broader rugby league community.
We’ll attend as many games as possible throughout the season, cheering on the team as they aim to make history once again. We’d also encourage you to do the same if you’ve never experienced rugby league before now. You can find more details about the game at Betfred Women’s Super League
